Krypforge Privacy Policy

Local-first operation

Krypforge is a desktop application. It scans folders selected or configured by you, detects local projects, and writes exports to a local output directory. Krypforge does not operate a hosted service that receives your source code.

Data stored by the app

Krypforge may store app settings, scan profiles, favorites, workspace order, Rotator platform settings, email/account entries, cooldown history, quick prompts, and reset state in the operating system app data folder.

Exports

Export files are created only when you start an export. Environment assignment values are replaced locally with a redaction marker, including valid assignments that have been commented out. Krypforge can also perform a local preflight for patterns that may represent secrets; this warning is a safeguard and not a guarantee that every sensitive value will be detected.

You choose how to use generated exports. Eligible bundles can be copied directly to the system clipboard, with an optional ten-minute clear action that runs only if the clipboard still contains the same bundle. Krypforge does not automatically submit exports to an AI service.

If you email support, we receive the information you choose to send, such as your email address, operating system, app version, and issue description. Do not send private source code unless explicitly requested and you are comfortable sharing it.
